In 2015 Ali directed, produced, and edited a 32-minute non-dialogue short fiction film, The Television, which he entirely directed and edited using an "Immersive Style."
Over ten years of his career, Ali's works have been widely seen and praised by international audiences and filmmakers, critics, film festivals, and academic scholars.
Ali's supercuts from his early works in 2013 were cited among the best ones in the film industry and stand on top of the genre besides the works of American filmmakers like "Kogonada.
